Harrisburg, PA – No matter where you are from or what heritage your blood lines are steeped, this is the one weekend a year when everyone in Central Pennsylvania is Greek.  The 41st annual Pennsylvania Greek Fest in Camp Hill gives thousands of people the opportunity to celebrate all things Greek.

greek festThe celebration kicks off today at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.  Games and entertainment are spread throughout the church grounds but surely the focus of the festival falls on the food.  The kitchen is already hot, preparing thousands of meals for waiting customers.  The older ladies of the church get together for weeks before the festival and make baklava and all of the Greek pastries by hand.

Each and every year, the Pennsylvania Greek Festival gets bigger and bigger and this year and this year is sure to not disappoint.

The Festival runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
