An 76-year-old woman was killed Saturday morning after she was struck by a car on Route 11 in Greene Township, Franklin County. Caroline V. Croft, of Shippensburg, was hit by a 1997 Buick Century as she was crossing the road to get to her car around 10:30 a.m., according to state police.
Troopers say Croft had been attending a yard sale across the street moments before the accident happened, troopers said.
Croft was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is still under investigation.
