A manhunt is underway in Lancaster City for two men suspected of abducting a woman on Tuesday morning.
Authorities say a 33-year-old woman contacted 911 to say she was in the trunk of a car after being abducted in Lancaster City. The victim was located around 9:08 a.m. in a vehicle inside Lancaster County Central Park, city police Lt. Todd Umstead said. The victim sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Officers are scouring Lancaster County Central Park and the surrounding area for the suspects.
The suspects were described by the victim as:
1. White male, shoulder length dark hair, last seen wearing a black shirt and grey sweatpants
2. Black male, balding, white t-shirt, black pants
A state police helicopter and the Red Rose K-9 unit are assisting in the investigation.
Lancaster County Central Park is currently closed.
