DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — UPDATE (February 14, 2020): Clivenson Pierre has been cleared of the listed charges.

A Harrisburg man has been charged in connection with Saturday’s shooting that left a 21 year-old man injured. Clivenson Pierre, 21, has been charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.

The shooting happened along the 2200 block of Green Street around 2:20 a.m. on Saturday.

Authorities say Pierre was involved  in a heated argument with another man when the shooting happened. The victim tried to stop the two men from getting into a fight when Pierre turned to him,  pulled out a gun and then shot him in the thigh, police said.

The victim was taken to Hershey Medical Center for treatment.

Pierre eventually surrendered to police and admitted to his role in the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.
