It’s a warm & humid evening.  Although it is quiet on the radar now, there is an isolated threat for a stray shower or thunderstorm to develop this evening.  Once we get past midnight, patchy fog will develop once again.  Lows will be warm in the mid to upper 60s.

STORM THREAT INCREASES

As a strong cold front nears the area, our chances for scattered showers and storms increases across for tomorrow.  The Storm Prediction Center has a portion of the area in a slight risk for severe storms.  Damaging winds and hail are the main concern at this time. Most of the day remains rain free but by afternoon and evening there will be a good chance of seeing scattered showers and storms. Highs will be warm once again in the mid to upper 80s.

Severe Storm Potential

TRANSITION THURSDAY

Cold front wreaking havoc and causing severe weather in parts of the U.S. will move across the state and bring an end to the hot and humid weather. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be likely.  Highs will fall back into the mid and upper 70s.

COOLER, MORE COMFORTABLE END TO THE WEEK

Friday will be a beautiful start to the holiday weekend.  Much cooler with highs in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees and overnight lows more seasonal in the mid 50s.  High pressure builds in for several days.

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

High pressure brings a wonderful holiday weekend our way.  Plenty of sunshine, seasonal temps hovering around 70 degrees and overnight lows a bit cooler than average in the mid 40s.  Memorial Day looks great for outdoor grilling, fishing, remembering those who served and anything else you plan to do.

Hope you are enjoying your week.:)
