ANOTHER STEAMER: It was certainly sweating weather if you spent any time outdoors yesterday. Today, expect a near repeat performance as temps make another run at the upper 80s with plenty of sticky humidity to go around. By late afternoon into the evening, we expect scattered showers and thunderstorms to form. Some of these storms have the potential to be strong to severe with gusty winds and hail. We’re under a slight risk for severe weather today. Most of the storms taper as we head through the late evening hours. The clouds will stick around overnight, and it remains warm, muggy, and foggy with lows in the upper 60s.
DROPPING OFF: Temps on Thursday will only make it to the upper 70s and by Friday we’re stuck in the middle 60s! It’s all courtesy of a passing cold front, which adds clouds and rain to the forecast both days. Expect numerous showers and thunderstorms on Thursday. Friday we’re breaking up the activity a bit, but showers look like a good bet.
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND: The skies should clear Saturday as cooler and drier air settles in for the long weekend. Saturday looks a bit breezy with highs near 70°. Sunday looks to be a degree or so warmer and less breezy with lots of Sun. Monday will be mainly sunny and milder, with a high near 75°. Perfect for parades and picnics! The nice weather spills into Tuesday as well.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Stay cool. Be ready to receive severe weather alerts today too.
