Justis T. Yost

A man ended up in the hospital after crashing his SUV while fleeing from police in Lancaster County early Sunday morning. It all started when officers attempted to pull Justis T. Yost, 21, of Lancaster, over for a traffic violation along Milton Grove Road at the Route 283 overpass in Rapho Township around 2:28 a.m.

When a police officer approached Yost’s vehicle, he sped off.

The chase ended a short time later when Yost lost control of his vehicle and crashed along the 1700 block of Breneman Road. Yost was apprehended and taken to Lancaster General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
