A 64-year-old woman was burglarized and attacked with a knife in Lower Paxton Township early Sunday morning.

It happened around 12:30 in the Eagle Crest Apartment complex.

The attacker is described as a hispanic male in his 20’s with a beard and curly hair, and wearing a red striped shirt.

Police say he pried open the window to the woman’s home and dragged her around the apartment.

The woman had minor injuries but did not require hospitalization.

Those who live nearby say this type of incident never happens.

“It`s quiet here, there`s been no problems issues, anything and it just took me off guard that someone just told me that but it doesn`t bother me,” says Randi Bobb, who lives nearby.

“My son`s always out running around you know let him walk around with the dog sometimes, you know it does scare me a little bit to know that`s happening right here,” says Kyle Alexander.

The motive behind the attack is uncertain.
