A Lower Paxton Township woman is recovering from injuries she received during a violent home invasion early Sunday morning. The 64-year-old victim told police she was inside her apartment along the 4200 block of Wagon Wheel Court when a man pried open a window and attacked her around midnight.
Authorities say the suspect had a knife and dragged the woman through the apartment during the attack.
The victim struggled with her attacker and screamed until he abruptly stopped and then fled the apartment, police said.
The woman sustained minor injuries and did not require medical treatment.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20’s with a full beard and short curly hair. He was last seen wearing a red stripped shirt.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
