Mechanicsburg woman accused of adding tip to customers credit cards

A  Cumberland County woman is accused of adding a tip to customer’s credit card.  Silver Spring Township Police were called to a business in the 6500 block of Carlisle Pike that reported an employee, identified as 19 year old Brooklyn Walton, of Mechanicsburg, had been adding tip amounts to customer’s receipts without their knowledge or authorization.  An investigation revealed that the fraud involved multiple customers credit cards.

Walton faces charges that include Theft and Access Device Fraud.

    This happened to us at the applebees in hbg. We gave her a generous cash tip and then she added $30 on the credit card.
    The manager tried to argue with us even. Never went back to eat there.

    this happened to me at TGI Fridays. I left a cash tip and when I got my bill there was an extra 20.00 added on my charge card. called the corp office after trying to get my money back from the rest. and after 2 weeks and MY copy of charge receit got a 20.00 dollar check in the mail!!!!!!!!
