Northumberland County shooting suspect should be considered ‘armed and extremely dangerous’

Anthony Galla

A former police officer with a military background is being sought in connection to a shooting in Northumberland County early Tuesday morning.  Anthony Galla, 31, of Cleona, is accused of a shooting another man along South Walnut Street in Mount Carmel Borough around 1 a.m.

Galla has ties to Lebanon County and may be headed to Central Pennsylvania, police said.

Authorities believe Galla is driving a silver 2003 Honda CR-V with Pennsylvania registration of HHD9126.

Galla should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.
