THREE H’S:  The summer time triple H threat begins today.  Hazy, hot, & humid air is in the forecast through the weekend as a bubble of high pressure aloft shifts north and settles in for the next few days.  Expect highs in the upper 80s and low 90s.

Today, expect a foggy start to give way to decreasing clouds and increasing sun.  We’ll rapidly rise to the middle and upper 80s by late afternoon.  A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible later in the day too.  We’re partly cloudy again tonight with some areas of fog possible as lows drop to the middle 60s.

Highs today

90S AHEAD:  Signs continue to point toward several days of 90s with muggy air.  Expect the thermometer to hit the 90° on Thursday and Friday with a good amount of sunshine.  Saturday will be at 90° but more clouds roll in ahead of our next front.  We haven’t seen 90° since August of last year.  Get ready to crank the A/C and be sure to stay hydrated and stay cool.

BURST THE BUBBLE:  Some upper level energy will swing south on Sunday into Monday, helping to burst our heat bubble, or at least shunt it southward.  Expect a warm and muggy Sunday with highs in the middle 80s.  However, showers and storms will arrive during the day.  The front is a slow mover, so we keep the chance for rain and storms through Monday.  However, some cooler air spills in on the back side.  We’re in the upper 70s Monday.  By Tuesday, we’re clearing, less humid, and more seasonal with highs in the mid 70s.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
