Pennsylvania and Maryland State Police team up to crackdown on dangerous drivers on Interstate 83. The cooperative effort starts Friday morning. In addition to state police Baltimore County Police and Baltimore City Police will also focus on aggressive drivers, speeders, tailgaters, distracted drivers and those drivers and passengers not wearing their seat belt.
The expanded enforcement effort will cover I-83 from York all the way into Baltimore City. The ultimate goal of the operation is to reduce traffic crashes caused by the described driving behaviors.
