State Police in Perry County search for two older men who took photos of two minor girls at a state park.  It happened Wednesday at around 12:30 at Little Buffalo State Park near Newport.  The girls, both 10 years old, say the two men between 60 and 70 years old, approached them and took multiple pictures using a handheld tablet like device.

One of the men allegedly touched one of the girls and tried to get their email addresses. The men left the park in a green color Lincoln Town-car with a tan canvas top.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact state police in Newport at (717) 567-3110.

Wow. From the surface, this sounds like it could be a couple of retirees simply into digital photography and nothing more. If there was anything seeming amiss, the girls should have ignored them and walked away. Anything scary and they should have run screaming. Just like every responsible parent is supposed to train their kids to do.

By the way, people taking photos and videos at a park of others, no matter the age, is no crime or else we have a lot of footage in this country that is criminal, including street corner and bank cameras.

If the guys are that old, they could be ignorant of the sensitivity of talking to any kid nowadays. I don't even want to say hello to a kid when THEY approach ME because some ignoramus might get stupid.
