West Manchester Township, York County – Thousands of old cars are set to invade York County this weekend as the Street Rod Nationals East comes to town for the 33rd year.  The annual event pits pre-1949 modified cars, 3,000 to 4,000 all in one spot, for people to take a look or even to buy.

The Street Rods are hard to hide in York County.  Drive anywhere around the York Expo Center and these painted beauties will be around.  The economic impact to the area is immense.  The York County Convention and Visitors Bureau estimates the three-day event brings in $7 million to the community.

Gates open at the York Expo Center at 8 a.m. on Friday morning and run 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.  Admission is $14 for adults.
