Police have released stills from surveillance video in their search for an attempted robbery suspect at a Weis Markets in Lower Allen Township. A white male entered the store along Lowther Road around 7:20 a.m. on Saturday morning and demanded money from the cash register.

Police say the suspect acted like he had a gun and told the clerk he didn’t want to hurt anyone.

The store employee called a supervisor over who explained to the robber that she couldn’t open the drawer, police said. The suspect left the store empty handed.

Authorities believe this incident could also be connected to an armed robbery that occurred earlier this morning at the Turkey Hill in Lemoyne and another robbery in East Pennsboro Township.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’5″-5’8″ in height, 160-180 pounds, with brown hair and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a brown sweatshirt and blue jeans.
