Police have arrested the man that went on a robbery spree this morning in Cumberland County. Richard Sichula, 33 of New Cumberland, was taken into custody this afternoon in Wormleysburg.

Sichula robbed a Weis Market in Lower Allen, a Turkey Hill in Lemoyne and committed a third robbery in East Pennsboro Township. He also robbed the Palm Beach Tan in the West Shore Plaza in Lemoyne around 11:30 a.m.

Officers from West Shore Regional, East Pennsboro Township, Lower Allen Township, New Cumberland Borough and the Harrisburg City Police Department spent the day searching for him on the West Shore and Harrisburg.

After several tip calls, police were able to identify the suspect and found him driving his vehicle in the Borough of Wormleysburg. Sichula was carrying a loaded .22 caliber handgun that had been stolen from someone in New Cumberland Borough.

He faces multiple counts of Robbery and Theft by Unlawful Taking. Sichula will be taken to Cumberland County Prison later this evening.
