High pressure is providing the area with dry air, comfy conditions and lots of blue skies. Temperatures warmed into the low to mid 70s this afternoon and will fall back into the 60s going into the evening. Overnight under a starry sky, temperatures will fall back to around 50° by morning.
ANOTHER BEAUTY
We are looking at a wonderful Wednesday with sunny skies and highs a bit warmer and more seasonal in the upper 70s. Winds will be light out of the northeast but will shift to the east-southeast which will help to pull in more moisture for the end of the week. Still comfortable tomorrow but dewpoints will rise as we see an increase in the humidity.
THURSDAY RAIN THREAT
A frontal system approaches increasing our rain chances especially in the afternoon and evening. Wet weather will continue on Friday and possibly early Saturday as it picks up some tropical moisture. Highs will be held into the mid 70s with the clouds and rain.
WATCHING THE GULF COAST REGION
There is an area of disturbed weather north of the Yucatan Peninsula that the National Hurricane Center is watching closely. It has about a 40% chance of becoming tropical or sub-tropical. Either way it is forecasted to bring heavy rain to Florida and the southeast. It is also expected to get picked up by the frontal system moving our way which will combine to bring us a good chance for wet weather.
NEXT SYSTEM
Looks like the rain will move out early Saturday leaving the late afternoon and evening drying out. Sunday will be the best day coming up with partly cloudy skies and highs around 80°. A cold front quickly approaches for Monday bringing a return of wet weather. Despite clouds, highs will reach close to 80°. Dry Tuesday with sunshine and seasonal temps in the upper 70s.
