Summer is almost here and that means it’s time for summer entertaining. Ted Allen, host of the Food Network program “Chopped” talks about the top flavor and ingredient trends emerging this season.
He also previews the Aspen Food and Wine show. More than 70 chefs and food experts will attend the festival, creating a flavor paradise of seminars and cooking demonstrations. At the event, Allen will be leading a workshop on the “Science of Pairing”, which includes a panel of experts who will focus on the science behind why certain ingredients pair better than others, and how taste buds play a role in the food decisions foodies make every day.
