Health Officials Say Dentist May Have Made Patients Sick

Survey findings have revealed that many men don’t see their primary care physician annually, even through preventative screenings can reduce likelihood of some of the most common diseases affecting men. For example, prostate cancer affects one in six men, making it one of the most common types of cancer found in American men as well as one of the leading causes of cancer deaths in men.

Tomorrow, Saturday, June 8 from 11a.m. to 3 p.m. Sam’s Club will host FREE men’s health care screenings in honor of Men’s Health Month in June. The screenings are free and available to the public at all Sam’s Club locations with a pharmacy. While the health screening event is focuses on men’s health, the screenings will offer tests for both men and women.

The free health screening event features tests valued at up to $150, Including:

  1. PSA (prostate-specific antigen) test for men
  2. TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone) test for women
  3. Blood pressure
  4. BMI (body mass index)
  5. Vision
