A major immigration bill sponsored by the so called Gang of Eight, clears a major hurdle in the U.S. Senate.  The Senate voted 82 to 15 late Tuesday in a procedural vote to begin debate on the immigration overall bill.  GOP Senator Pat Toomey, and Democrat Bob Casey voted “yes”.  The massive bill revamps the nation’s immigration system and puts millions of  illegal immigrants on a path to citizenship.  A final vote on the legislation could come before the July recess.
