Vacant building collapses in Palmyra

Part of a vacant building in the middle of demolition came crashing down in Palmyra, Lebanon County Thursday, startling people who live nearby.

The small building on the 300 block of Chestnut St. was part of a shuttered shoe factory that had been empty for years.

No one was hurt.

Borough manager Roger Powl said crews will finish the job Friday.
