Car thieves in Lower Allen township

After running from police, three suspects have been taken into custody for stealing items from multiple vehicles.

Early Wednesday morning Lower Allen police were called to  the highland drive area of Highland Estates where they found multiple vehicles broken into and multiple people running from the police. After the police chased these suspects they were able to capture three of them.

Tyler Williammee, 19, of Hershey and two other juveniles, one from Harrisburg and one from Lemoyne, are all being charged with theft from auto, theft, and possession of instruments of a crime. After the chase, the police did find Williammee with a gun on him that he had stolen out one of one of the vehicles. Williammee is also being charged with carrying a firearm without a license. Police do believe that more than 25 vehicles have been broken into in this area.

Williammee was arraigned and committed into Cumberland County Prison, and the two juvenile were taken by Cumberland county probation. Lower Allen police remind everyone to lock their vehicles and keep valuables out of plain sight. Anyone with information on these crimes are asked to call Lower Allen police at 717-238-9676.
