Harrisburg Police identify suspect in Club 1400 shooting

Police identify a suspect in a shooting Tuesday afternoon outside the Club 1400 bar in the 200 block of Calder Street.  A warrant has been issued for 43 year old Charles “Boo” West.  Witnesses say West was upset and threaten to kill an acquaintance he was talking in front of the bar.  West allegedly fired a single shot at the victim, hitting him in the shoulder.  He then ran away on foot. The victim’s wound was not life threatening.

The warrant charges West with Attempted Homicide, Aggravated Assault and Carrying Firearm without License.  West remains at large, but he or his family are encouraged to contact Detective Ryan Neal at (717) 255-7299. or Lt. Robert Fegan at (717) 255-3114.
