Police arrest suspect in Lancaster stabbing

Lancaster City Police identify a suspect in a stabbing last month.  It happened at around 2:20 in the morning on May 4th in the 1st block of East Fulton Street.  The 23 year old victim was stabbed multiple times.  About three weeks later Detectives obtained an arrest warrant on an Aggravated Assault charge for 31 year old Miguel Camacho, of Lancaster.

Investigators learned that Camacho was staying at a home in the 100 block of Harvestview North in Mount Joy borough.   The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force assisted by city and borough police converged on the home Friday morning. Camacho was taken into custody without incident.

After arraignment he was sent to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.  Camacho is also being held on a Pennsylvania State Parole detainer.
