Expect plenty of sun on Saturday.

High pressure building into the region is expected to shut down the isolated showers that have popped up along parts of Central PA this afternoon.  Through the evening, the showers and clouds quickly fade.  Overnight clear skies and comfortable conditions make for great sleeping weather.

A chance for showers and thunderstorms arrives Sunday afternoon.

Saturday full sunshine and dry conditions return for start of Father’s Day weekend.  Highs are in the lower 80s.  Sunday high pressure begins losing its grip with the approach of our next storm system.  Clouds increase through the day.  There is the chance for a few late day showers and storms, especially west.  Most of the area will be dry for most of Father’s Day, however.

Monday showers and storms are back into the forecast for everyone.  The chance for thunderstorms lingers into Tuesday.  Highs reach the lower 80s both days.  Sunshine settles in again by the middle of the week.  Mostly sunny skies are expected Wednesday through Friday.  Highs are in the lower 80s.

Have a great weekend!
