The 24 Annual Ride for Sight kicked off in Lititz this morning.

The event is a rain or shine event that benefits Susquehanna Foundation for the blind along with other fundraising associations. It began at 7am with an 80 mile road tour that travels through parts of Lancaster county. The ride has drawn thousands in the past two decades and more than $225,000 has been raised.  Breakfast is served at the beginning of every ride and lunch is provided at the end of the tour. There is live entertainment and door prize tickets. People in the area of the tour were encouraged to cheer the riders on as they passed by on their route.
