Lebanon police are trying to find a driver involved in a hit-and-run Tuesday night in which a 12-year-old on his scooter was injured.
The crash happened at the intersection of 8th and Union streets just before 6 p.m.
The following is from a news release from the Lebanon Police Department:
“The vehicle fled the scene. A witness followed the vehicle but lost it on Cornwall Rd in the area of Norman Dr.
“The striking vehicle is described as a small to medium sized car (not truck or SUV) dark in color, possibly gray or black.
“The juvenile was transported to a local hospital by his parents and treated for his injuries and released.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about the striking vehicle and/or operator is asked to contact the Lebanon City Police Dept.”
