Plane forced to make emergency landing

A small aircraft, with two people aboard, makes an emergency landing in Lebanon County.   The pilot of the single engine aircraft reported engine trouble shortly after takeoff from Deck airport at about 6:35 Thursday evening in Jackson Township.  The pilot made a controlled landing in a cornfield near King Street.  Both the pilot and his wife walked away without injury.


The aircraft, a 2005 Stingsport,  is registered to Timothy Jones, of Lebanon.
