Coroner: Body found in Codorus Creek was homeless man

Investigators have identified a man who was found dead Friday afternoon in a creek in York City.

According to the York County coroner’s office, the man is 50-year-old Daniel Wise.  His body was found floating in the Codorus Creek around 12:45 p.m. near the 200 block of West Philadelphia Street.

Authorities say Wise was homeless.

An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.

The cause of death is unknown.

    Another news story today describes a church that puts resources into turning gay Christians straight. How about helping homeless survive? A more realistic goal, don'tcha think?
