STORMS BUBBLE UP AGAIN WEDNESDAY

Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma has us in a slight risk for severe storms tomorrow.  That means some of the storms that develop could get strong.  Main threat or concern will be damaging winds and pea size hail.  Of course with all the moisture in the atmosphere, very heavy rain is likely which could cause quick ponding on roadways and poor drainage areas.  Storms will linger into the evening.

Slight Risk

PATTERN SLOW TO CHANGE

Anchored Bermuda High in the Atlantic will keep it very warm and humid the next couple of days.  As we head into Thursday, an approaching trough and cold front will bring the best chance for widespread showers and storms as well as severe weather.  The trough moves in Friday into the weekend knocking temperatures back to the low to mid 80s which is more seasonal.  However, the rain threat will continue through the end of June as well as July.

STILL HOT FOR WEDNESDAY

Tonight will be muggy so keep the A/C running if you can! Lows will warm in the upper 60s to near 70.  There is an isolated threat for a pop shower or thunderstorm overnight but most of the area will remain dry.

Tomorrow, expect partly cloudy skies, humid with highs reaching the upper 80s to low 90s again.  Showers and storms will be possible and will be hit or miss especially into the afternoon.  Best chance for rain this week will be Thursday.

Hour by Hour

STAYING UNSETTLED FOR THE START OF JULY

An upper level trough gets hung up over the east coast along with a stationary boundary.  Areas of low pressure will track along it keeping hit or miss showers and thunderstorms in the forecast.  It looks like a pretty wet pattern setting up into early next week.
