QUIET BUT SOUPY OVERNIGHT

AREAS OF FOG likely overnight.  It will lower visibilities in some areas so be sure to use your low beams!

Storm Tracker is quiet now as storms have moved out of the area.  We should remain rain free through late morning before showers enter back into the picture in our western counties anytime after 10am.  Dewpoints are in the upper 60s to low 70s making for a muggy night.  It will be a hazy start with mild temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s.

WET WEATHER FOR THURSDAY LIKELY

Anchored Bermuda High in the Atlantic will keep it humid, however, our rain threat goes up as an approaching trough and cold front brings the best chance for widespread showers and storms, as well as the potential for severe weather. Temperatures will fall back into the low to mid 80s with the clouds and wet weather around.  Areas that do not receive heavy rain will experience warmer temperatures.

ANOTHER THREAT FOR SEVERE WEATHER

Storms that do develop may be severe with damaging winds being the main threat.  Very heavy rain will also be possible.  The Storm Prediction Center has the area in a SLIGHT RISK for severe weather. Storms that develop may have to be watched for rotation as well.

Slight Risk

UNBELIEVABLE STRETCH OF UNSETTLED DAYS

A trough settles over the area Friday into the weekend knocking temperatures back to the low to mid 80s which is more seasonal.  However, the rain threat will continue each and every day through the end of June as well as the first week of July due to the cold front becoming hung up. Eventually the upper level trough lifts out but not until the end of the Fourth of July holiday.
