A bear cub was spotted near a home in Newberry Township on Friday morning. The sighting took place along the 700 block of Garriston Road around 10 a.m.
A home owner told police he saw the cub at the rear of his residence. He snapped the photo, pictured above, before the bear cub disappeared back into the woods.
If you happen to run into the bear, do not approach it and call police.
