If it wasn’t for the Battle of Hunterstown more than 2,000 confederate infantry may have fought in the Battle at Gettysburg.  A commemoration was held Tuesday afternoon to help people understand the impact it had on Gettysburg.  The Battle of Hunterstown took place just a few miles away near New Oxford in Adams County.  Visitors could engage with living historians at this historic Tate farm to learn the full story behind the battle.
