Hospice and Community Care Evacuates Patients Due to Rail Car Fire

Hospice & Community Care has evacuated 14 patients from their Bob Fryer & Family Inpatient Center, 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mount Joy, due to a rail car fire in Rapho Township, Lancaster County.

All patients have been evacuated to Lancaster General Hospital in downtown Lancaster. Patients were accompanied by Hospice staff throughout transition and are under the care of Lancaster General Hospital and Hospice & Community Care staff.

Families were notified immediately by Hospice of the evacuation. Family members can contact Hospice & Community Care for additional information at (717) 295-3900 or 1-800-924-7610.
