Sheriff’s deputy attacked by pit bull, shoots dog

A deputy with the York County Sheriff’s office shot a pit bull Monday morning while trying to serve outstanding warrants. According to York City police, the deputy was attempting to serve warrants in the 400 block of Lindbergh Avenue when the pit bull attacked.

The dog survived and was taken to an emergency care center for treatment.

    well he walked into the dog’s territory, his yard, to serve papers. I guess the dog didn’t get a warning shot to scare him, nope since he’s a pitbull, he gets shot straight up.
