Search for attempted armed robbery suspect in York City

York City Police are seeking help from the public in identifying a suspect in an attempted robbery suspect.  The suspect, armed with a knife, walked into the Turkey Hill in the 1200 block of East Market Street at about 4 am on Monday, July 1.  He allegedly attempted to rob the clerk at knife point.   However, police say nothing was taken from the cash register and it is unknown if he got away with any merchandise.


Police released several surveillance photos of the suspect. He is a white male, between 30 – 40 years old, 5 feet 7 to 6 feet tall.  He wore a gray hoodie, with the hood pulled up, dark sunglasses, a light colored baseball cap, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
