The extreme heat and storms didn’t stop an outdoor boxing match in Harrisburg.

“ I`ve been doing this for ten years I have 11 national titles nearly 100 fights, it`s a sport what you put in you get out. It`s a different feel, “ says Brittany Inkrote of York

Brittany and other boxer’s  training taking center stage for the Harrisburg Boxing Club’s first outdoor boxing match.

“ We train without air conditioning, we don`t have windows, we don`t do any of that so we`re used to the heat. But as humid as it`s been you`re still never used to that, “ says Inkrote

The unbearable heat followed by an afternoon storm simply added to the excitement,  as the city shut down part of Market Street for the event.

“ It`s cool it`s a different experience. We`re used to fighting inside of buildings so to get outside in the elements is nice,” says Zachary Weaver of York

The outdoor match is something the club hopes to become an annual event.
