Police say brake failure is to blame after a car crashed into a body shop in Lancaster County late Saturday night. It happened around 10:50 p.m. along the 500 block of East Main Street in New Holland.

Sara Linker, 66, of Blue Ball, was behind the wheel when her brakes failed and she was unable to stop, police said. The car went up over a curb and through a window at O’Neill’s Auto Body.

No injuries were reported.
