Everyone was welcome to enjoy traditional Slavic foods and music at the annual Slavic-American Festival today.

The festival was hosted by the Saint Ann Byzantine Catholic Church on Locust Lane in Harrisburg. The event included all sorts of hearty homemade food, such as Kielbasa, pastries, and plenty of Slavic delicacies.

Attendees also got to dance and enjoy Live music from two polka bands. One attendee said that,

“the people who come to this festival also come from quite some distance because it’s not easy to get this great Slavic food everywhere and they can get it here at St. Ann’s. They know its homemade, they know its delicious and they come to enjoy the food and enjoy just the good time that this gathering is.”

The festival also included 25 hundred dollars in cash raffles.
