Travelers looking to drive through Derry Township this weekend can expect heavier traffic than usual. According to Derry Township police, there will be several traffic generating events this weekend in addition to the regular Hersheypark related traffic.
The Summer Mixtape Festival is a two-day concert event being held at the Hersheypark Stadium. The concert activities begin both Friday and Saturday at 5pm. Expect traffic on feeder routes to the stadium prior to the events.
Tony Bennett will be in concert at the Hershey Theatre on Saturday beginning at 8pm.
The Mid-Cap Championship Swim Meet will be at the Hershey Recreation Center on Saturday beginning at 8:15am. Expect extra traffic on Cocoa Avenue and parking restraints at the Recreation Center throughout the morning
