Wyoming County Coroner Thomas Kakuchka says there are no survivors of a helicopter crash in Wyoming County.

Five people, including one child died Saturday night, when the helicopter they were in, plummeted to the ground in stormy weather.  Kukuchka said among those killed are a man and his son, another man and his daughter, and the pilot.

Air traffic controllers at the Wilkes-Barre Scranton International Airport say the pilot reported losing altitude just before they lost track of it on their radar.

According to an employee at the Greater Binghamton Airport, the helicopter departed from the Tri-Cities Airport in Endicott. It then made contact with the Federal Aviation Administration tower at the Binghamton airport and was then sent to the FAA tower in Scranton.

The helicopter was bound for an airport in Lehighton in Carbon County.

Ground search crews located the crashed helicopter Sunday afternoon on South Mountain in Noxen Township.

The FAA said the National Transportation Safety Board is leading the investigation.
