The man accused of killing a York County woman two months ago was in court Monday.  Police say Bryan Brackbill murdered Sandra Mulder, 52, of Carroll Township on June 2nd.  They say he then stole her car.

Family members found Mulder’s body in her bedroom with her hands and feet bound.  Mulder’s son-in-law testified at Monday’s preliminary hearing, along with Brackbill’s former girlfriend and a detective with the Carroll Township Police Department.  Brackbill’s friends and family came out to show their support.

Brackbill’s mother-in-law, Anna Ercolino says, “He’s not guilty, I don’t think he did it.”

Close friend, Kimberly Nyhllm says, “Whatever happened, he didn’t set out to kill her, I know he didn’t.  I have nieces, his kids mean the world to me.”

York County, assistant District Attorney, Dave Sunday, says there’s enough evidence to stand trial.

“I’m happy the judge bound all the charges over to county court.  It’s very early in the process and I look forward to getting this to trial so we can ensure justice is served,” says Sunday.

Brackbill faces several charges including murder and stealing a vehicle.  His arraignment is set for August 30th at York County Court.
