Several people are charged after a fight in Carlisle last week. It happened Friday afternoon on the 100 block of East North Street. Anthony Sease, 23, and Kaysean Smith, 19, got into aphysical confrontation with Joseph Ghaffaar, 20, and Jonathan Carper, 25. Police say Sease and Smith struck Ghaffaar and Carper with a wooden stick, causing lacerations to both of their heads. When a neighbor, Barbara Rand, 60, tried to intervene, she was attacked by two females who were part of the fracas, Bonita Douglas, 18, and another juvenile female.Douglas was arrested after a short pursuit. Sease and Smith were arrested a few blocks away. Sease already had an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault.

Sease and Smith are both charged with aggravated assault and simple assault for this incident.

Joseph Ghaffaar is charged with disorderly conduct for spitting on one of the suspects and the arresting officer.

Bonita Douglas was released initially, but went back to the scene of the fight and started another fight in front of three officers on the scene. She is charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, harrassment, disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana.
