SOGGY THURSDAY:  Two batches of rain are in the cards for today.  First up, a batch of showers move in during these morning hours form the south as a low pressure center scoots east.  Showers will bring heavier pockets of rain at times for the morning commute.  This batch clears by about midday.  Then a cold front slices through during the afternoon, which will fire scattered showers and some thunderstorms, with heavier pockets of rain.  Some gusty winds may accompany these storms.  This all ends by evening with skies beginning to clear a bit.  Highs today will settle into the upper 70s.  Most spots will grab 0.50”-1” of rain, with heavier bands and pockets dumping up to 2” locally.

Rain Estimates

FRIDAY & WEEKEND:  We’re back to sunshine and some slightly drier weather on Friday.  Clouds will mix out during part of the day and highs hit the low 80s.

Saturday, a wave will race eastward bringing scattered showers and a few thunderstorms to the picture.  We’re generally cloudy with highs held in the upper 70s.  We clear and dry for Sunday, with the return of sunshine and temps rising to near 80°.

NEXT WEEK:  Monday looks comfy and cool with temps in the upper 70s.  We’re generally sunny too.  The pattern is a bit unsettled for Tuesday into Wednesday.  Highs are back in the 80s, but the chance for rain dances in the mix.  We’ll hammer out those details in the days ahead.

It’s Friday Eve, make it a good one and keep an umbrella handy!
