Silver Spring Township Police are investigating a purse snatching. It happened on Sunday, July 28, 2013, around 5:45PM at the Mechanicsburg Walmart, located at 6520 Carlisle Pike. A woman distracted the victim inside the store while a male, later identified as Dustin Roeting, stole the purse from the victims shopping cart. Several customers assisted in chasing down Roeting and detaining him until police arrival.
