An SUV crashes through through the front of the Gettysburg Trading Post, in Adams County.  It happened at about 8:14 this morning along the 1800 block of York Road, Route 30 in Straban Township. The driver, Brian Oaster, managed to escape with only minor injuries.

Pennsylvania State Police say Oaster had worked the overnight shift and was on his way home when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel.

Oaster also hit several mailboxes and grazed a telephone pole.  The SUV was heavily damaged in the collision. The Gettysburg Trading Post deals in new and used merchandise.  It was not opened at the time of the incident.

State Police haven’t determined yet whether Oaster will be charged.
