Police have filed charges against a man wanted in connection to a home invasion and assault in Lancaster County on July 28.

Bevon Tyler Hartman, 21, of Douglasville, is charged with burglary, robbery, criminal conspiracy, assault and theft.

Last month, police responded to a home along the 300 block of Duke Street in Ephrata  for a report of a burglary. The female victim told officers she found two men burglarizing her house when she returned home around 2:15 a.m.

One of the suspects pointed a gun at her and physically assaulted her, police said. The victim recognized Hartman, a former acquaintance, as one of the suspects.

Both men fled the scene before police arrived.

Anyone with information on Hartman’s whereabouts is asked to contact police at 717-733-8611.
