HELLO FALL:  Yeah, yeah, the calendar may say August, but we’re going by the thermometer today!  Yesterday’s wet, muggy weather has been replaced with cool and dry air.  Today will be the coolest of the next seven days with highs only in the low to middle 70s.  We add to that a northwesterly breeze which will make for an even cooler, fall like feel.  Enjoy!  Tonight, be sure to crack the windows before bed and let in some of the cool air as temps fall to the low 50s.

We keep the low humidity air through the remainder of the week.  We warm a bit each day though, ending at 80° on Friday.  This is perfect weather to enjoy the outdoors!

WEEKEND:  We slowly uptick humidity as temperatures level out in the low 80s for Saturday and Sunday.  We begin to cloud up too as moisture creeps in from the south.  Models disagree on energy and moisture from the Gulf right now, so we’re only talking about the chance for some rain on Sunday with extra clouds.  We may need to tweak as we go with this forecast.

NEXT WEEK:  Monday looks like our cloudiest day with the best chance for rain, but still…we’re uncertain on the timing.  Tuesday, we should clear a bit as warmer and muggier air lifts north with highs in the middle 80s.

It’s hump day, we’re half way to the weekend!  Woohoo!
