A man was injured in a shooting on the streets of York City late Friday night. At around 10:55 p.m. police responded to a report of a shooting along the first block of South Penn Street.
Detrel R. Rice, 25, of York, was shot in the hip and taken to York Hospital for treatment. His injuries are non-life threatening, according to police.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
No suspect information has been released and no suspects are in custody, police said.
